1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is visited, the web server automatically stores a server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the visit. 

This access data is evaluated for the sole purpose of ensuring fault-free operation of the website and improving our online presence. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR, this serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our online presence. All access data will be erased no later than seven days after your visit to the website has ended. 

Third-party hosting services


 In the context of data processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides us with hosting and website presentation services. All data collected through the use of this website or in the forms provided for that purpose (as described below) are processed on their servers. Processing on other servers takes place only in the scope described here. 

This service provider is situated in a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and use for the purpose of establishing contact

We collect personal data that you share with us while contacting us (e.g., via the contact form or by e-mail). Required fields are marked as such because we need this data to process your contact with us, and you cannot contact us without providing it. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR, this serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in giving you the ability to contact us at any time and being able to respond to your inquiries. The entry form shows which data is collected. We use the data you provide to process your inquiries. Once we have processed the inquiry in full, your data will be blocked for further processing and erased following expiry of the mandatory retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to the continued use of your data or we reserve the right to the continued use of your data as permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

3. Cookies

We use cookies on various pages to make our website attractive to visitors, enable the use of certain functions, display suitable products, or conduct market research. This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in the optimized presentation of our range of products and services in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR.

4. Online marketing

Google Maps


 This website uses Google Maps to display geographical information. Google Maps is provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under Irish law. Its registered office is at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.com). This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in the optimized presentation of our offer and to make it easier to visit our locations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR.
When visitors to the website use Google Maps, Google transmits or processes data about their use of the Maps features, which may, in particular, include the IP address and location data. We have no influence on this data processing.
Insofar as information is transferred to Google’s servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
To deactivate the Google Maps service and thereby prevent data transmission to Google, you must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. If you do this, Google Maps cannot be used or can be used to a limited extent only.

5. Social Media

Our online presence on Facebook

Our presence on social networks and platforms enables better, more active communication with our customers and prospective customers. We use these platforms to provide information about our products and ongoing special promotions.
 When you view our online presence on social media, your data may be collected and stored automatically for market research and advertising purposes. Usage profiles are created from this data using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements on the platforms and elsewhere that correspond better to your interests. In general, cookies are place on your end device for that purpose. Visitor behavior and user interests are stored in these cookies. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in the optimized presentation of our range of products and services and effective communication with customers and prospective customers. If the respective social media platform operators ask you to consent to data processing, e.g., by means of a check box, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
 If the aforementioned social media platforms have their headquarters in the USA, the following applies: The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the USA. This is based on the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate for the relevant company can be viewed here.

6. Your rights and how to contact us

As the data subject, you have the following rights:

  • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, the right to request information about your personal data processed by us in the scope described therein;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, the right to request the immediate rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data;
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, the right to request erasure of your personal data stored by us, provided that continued processing is not necessary 
  • for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information;
  • for compliance with a legal obligation;
  • for reasons of public interest or
  • for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data, provided that 
  • you contest the accuracy of your personal data;
